PingPulse SMPP Operations Gateway
Designed for enterprise application-to-application messaging, PingPulse SMPP provides structured session management, PDU rate control, and protocol-level observability.
Engineered for Enterprise Integration
- ✓Supports SMPP v3.4 Transmitter, Receiver, and Transceiver session binds
- ✓Account credential management with IP ACLs and TLS encryption
- ✓Configurable submit_sm rate limits and windowing controls
- ✓Asynchronous Delivery Receipt (DLR) parsing and callback hooks
- ✓Real-time protocol error monitoring and session health checks
Target Operational Value
- •Streamlined integration between enterprise core systems and messaging networks
- •Predictable queue management during peak notification events
- •Transparent delivery tracking with structured error code mapping
- •Isolated account boundaries for multi-department operations
How the System Operates
Session Authentication
Client application initiates a TCP connection and sends a BIND_TRANSMITTER or BIND_TRANSCEIVER PDU.
Rate & Queue Control
PingPulse validates credentials, checks IP access rules, and assigns submission rate quotas.
Message Submission
SUBMIT_SM PDUs are accepted, assigned a unique tracking ID, and queued for downstream dispatch.
DLR Callback
Asynchronous DELIVER_SM receipts are captured and converted into structured event webhooks.
Standard Protocols
- •Native SMPP v3.4 TCP/IP socket connections
- •REST API bridge for web applications unable to maintain persistent sockets
- •VPN and TLS 1.3 encrypted transport layers
- •Webhook event push for delivery receipt processing
Governance & Privacy
- •IP whitelist enforcement per system ID
- •Encrypted credential storage and key rotation support
- •Audit logging of all BIND and submit_sm attempts
- •Payload data minimization options for sensitive OTP content
Observability & Scale
- •Session keep-alive (enquire_link) monitoring
- •Configurable PDU window size to optimize throughput
- •Dead-letter queues for unroutable or expired messages
- •Comprehensive command_status telemetry
Approved Enterprise Use-Case Categories
